According to some Korean media, the LG G Pro 2 will launched in MWC late-February, and the G3 will announced in mid-May. The all two will spot a QHD (1440×2560) resolution display. The display is speculated to be 5.5″ screen diagonal, and maybe a really-thin bezel too. Other speculations including 16MP back camera (probably with OIS), and LG’s own processor, currently codenamed ‘Odin’. The announcement is set to May 17.
And, however, the G Pro 2 will have bigger display than G3. Still in QHD resolution, the G Pro 2 will have 5.9″ screen. Unveiling is said to be at MWC on late-February 2014.
There is no official news from LG at the moment, but, fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long to see the devices. Stay tuned for more news! Source (Korean)/Via
LG has officially announced Red and Gold colors for LG G2 to celebrate the Chinese New Year holiday, which begins in two weeks.
The red and gold color will have a textured back cover instead of usual plastic back cover of the black and white G2 units. The textured back cover provides better grip on holding the device and prevents fingerprints from the back cover.
The LG G2 Red and Gold color editions will go on sale in Singapore for SGD898 and will available from a few of local telecom operators (to be more specific, StarHub, SingTel and M1) starting from January 18.
If you don’t remember, the G2 comes in a nearly-zero-bezel display, Rear key for an in-hand comfort, Android 4.2.2 out-of-the-box (4.4 KitKat available soon), 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2GB RAM, 13MP back camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) technology and 2.1MP front camera, 16/32GB internal storage, 3,000 mAh battery and some LG-only feature (like ‘Knock’, QuickMemo, and QSlide).
