Sony reveals Xperia Z1 Colorful Edition for Chinese markets

Sony has unveiled the Xperia Z1 Colorful Edition (M51w) for Chinese markets.

The handset is basically the Xperia Z1 Compact that lacks LTE connectivity option. Other than that, the specs are same as found in the Z1 Compact such as 4.3″ 720p display, Snapdragon 800 chipset, 20.7 megapixel camera, and more that founded in the Z1 Compact (except LTE).

As for Z1 Compact (or Z1 f in Japan), the Z1 Colorful Edition will launched in late-February for 3,999 Yuan ($661, €486 or £403) and will be available in all four colors (white, black, pink and lime).

Not only Z1 Colorful Edition, Sony has unveiled the Xperia Z1 4G/LTE (L39u), 3G Xperia T2 Ultra dual (XM50h) for China Unicom, and the 4G/LTE Sony Xperia T2 Ultra (XM50t).

Sony unveils Xperia E1 and Xperia T2 Ultra; both are available in single-SIM and dual-SIM

Sony has just announced the new Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia E1. Both devices will available in single-SIM and dual-SIM options.

The Xperia T2 Ultra is a large-screened device featuring some multimedia options.This is a 6″  device with 720x1280 HD resolution.

Other features that can be found on this phone such as 4G LTE connection support, TRILUMINOS display enhancements, 7.6 mm slim body (weighing 173gr), 3000mAh battery, 13 megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor and 1.1 megapixel front camera, 1080p rear video recording, Quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8928 processor, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, NFC, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory with microSD expansion support, and more. It also comes in a dual-SIM variant.

This is a mid-range phone so it will priced at the right budget. Unfortunately there are no words for pricing and availability date, although Sony confirmed that it will be available in the emerging markets, like China, Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Africa.

Xperia E1

The Xperia E1 is a budget-friendly music phone with great design. Sony claims the phone can play music via rear loudspeaker for up to 100Db loudness, plus other Sony Audio enhancements like ClearAudio+ and xLOUD.

The phone’s screen is at 4″ wide and 480×800 pixel resolution.

It has the dual-core 1.2GHz processor too (unknown maker), packed with 512MB RAM.

You can store music via the 4GB internal memory, and of course you can expand it via microSD card slot.

One extraordinary feature is it has the dedicated Walkman button and some easy ways to control music such as shake-to-shuffle functions.

The E1 also has 2 variants, one has single-SIM and the other has dual-SIM functions.

The phone will be available in black, white, and purple color options (unfortunately, the front bezel color is still black). There are no pricing guidance and availability info for now, but it should priced at a right price.

UPDATE:  Xperia Blog has confirmed the price of the phones above. The E1 will priced at €129 (Belgium), €139 (Germany), and €149 (Netherlands). Meanwhile the T2 Ultra will priced at €399 across Europe. The writer says that both phones will be available in Europe this Spring.
